48 hours: that's the time it took me to adore Madrid.
During March 2010 my husband and I travelled for three weeks visiting family in Louisiana, USA, with a two days stopover in Madrid. On our way back home
we had planned to stay for a week in Paris, but having enjoyed so much the mentioned 48 hours, we decided to shorten our french holiday and spend a few more days in Madrid.

On our long flight back to Cape Town we started dreaming about an early retirement in Spain.
One year after, on our next holiday, we spent twenty days traveling between Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. This time we were not simple tourists, we were a couple carefully planning how to start our move to this beautiful country. Since then our life's been revolving around ways to achieve our new goal.
Project Cortes is our first investment in Madrid. Costanilla de los Desamparados 11 is a flat we've chosen to buy in the neighborhood of Cortes or Las Letras. Why this flat? Because is conveniently located for those that, as we did in 2010 and 2011, want to enjoy Madrid's lifestyle. Close to the most important cultural places is at the same time located in a very quiet street. It will allow you to comfortably chill after exhausting days of culture and tapas.
We hope you enjoy your stay at Costanilla the same way we did. Hopefully, you will also fall in love with this amazing city.
