Places that I recommend:
"De Maria" Restaurant: delicious argentinian beef. Located one minute to Sol Metro Station, on Carrera de San Jeronimo, 5.
"Benteveo" tapas bar" delicious tostas and traditional argentinian beef sandwich. Just three minutes walk to our flat, Santa Isabel Street and San Eugenio Street.
"Ricotta" pasta bar: very good homemade fresh pasta for take away. Two minutes walk from our flat: Atocha Street, 99.
"Museo del Jamon" (ham museum): traditional and famous spanish ham, very cheap and special for those in a hurry. There's almost one museum in every corner of Madrid. My favorite one: Sol Square.
"San Miguel" Market: extensive variety of food, desserts and drinks to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Located just behind Plaza Mayor.
